Scott Putnam
President/CEO
Scott Putnam began working at Apex as a technician, while still a student at Shasta High School. By the time he was 25, he was President of the company, which has grown to a staff of 30 under his leadership. Scott has over 20 years experience in business consultation and in the design, implementation and administration of advanced technologies for a wide range of clients, from small business to large corporations. He recently received the 2010 Virgil Covington Award from the Redding Chamber of Commerce, and has also received awards from the SMART Resource Center and Redding Rotary. As President/CEO of Apex, he has twice accepted recognition as one of the top 100 most innovative IT providers in the world, and has maintained Microsoft Gold Partner status for over five years, in addition to advanced partnerships with companies such as CISCO, CITRIX, HP and Dell. Scott's technical certifications include Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), Microsoft Certified System Administrator (MCSA), MCNPS and MSPSI. . He serves on the Thanksgiving Basket Committee for Redding Rotary, and as an AWANA leader for Redding Neighborhood Church. He also serves his community through generous contributions to charitable organizations. He and his wife, Natalie, and their children, Joel and Hannah, live in Redding.

Ray Bass
Vice President of Technical Services
Ray Bass is a Level Three Senior Network Engineer, a Senior Telecommunications Engineer and a Low Voltage Electrician. He also holds numerous certifications in technology, including being a Microsoft Certified Professional and Windows 2003 Server Administrator, as well as holding a C-7 Contractors license and certifications with Mitel. He brings 16 years of industry experience to Apex, having worked in the past as the owner of his own computer company and an electrician for such renowned companies as Pepsi Cola, Campbell’s Soup and 7-UP Bottling. When he’s not handling the technical services for our company, Ray enjoys watching his kids’ games, computers, archery, go-cart racing and Texas Hold-‘em style poker.

Tom Grisell
Virtual CIO
Tom Grisell is a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, and a multi-faceted IT professional with extensive experience managing, implementing and supporting enterprise-wide business solutions. He specializes in architecting and optimizing network infrastructures, data management systems and virtual server environments. At Apex, Tom performs technology budgeting, strategic planning, and the overall management of IT infrastructure for our customers. He is the expert our company and our clients count on to recommend and deploy cost-cutting and performance-enhancing IT solutions, helping growing businesses like yours achieve their goals. When he’s not helping our clients take their businesses to the next level, Tom’s hobbies include spending time with his family, traveling, skiing, boating, wakeboarding, camping, biking, reading and hiking.

George Passidakis
Virtual CIO
George Passidakis holds an M.I.S. degree and brings 14 years of experience as an Information Technology professional to Apex. He is dedicated to bringing complicated technology down to earth for everyday use, ensuing our clients get the personal and professional service they deserve. George is a CEDIA Certified Professional Designer as well as a C-7 Licensed Contractor, who has founded his own custom database applications company, worked as an IT consultant and held a position as an IT manager for Cisco. He has extensive knowledge of and experience with Microsoft products and other traditional IT including Web development and wireless technologies. When he’s not providing expert IT solutions to our clients, George enjoys exploring the great outdoors, his kids, camping, audio/video and home automation.

Jamie Johnson
Executive Assistant
Since 2008, Apex has counted on Jamie Johnson for a wide range of duties, including reception, purchasing, shipping and receiving. She now serves as the Executive Assistant to our President & CEO, ensuring our business is always running smoothly. She is dedicated to excellence in customer service and is the professional our team relies on for high-level administrative support. In her time away from the office, Jamie’s hobbies include sewing, reading, visiting with family and friends and indulging her reality TV addiction.

Eric Sandhofner
Sales Assistant
As our Sales Assistant, Eric Sandhofner specializes in product quoting and research, sales purchasing and inventory accountability for Apex. Eric has education in Windows Vista, Server 2008, Cisco technologies, and brings seven years of experience to our company. He previously served in the US Army as an Advanced Warning System Operator, working with radar in an Air Missile Defense Work Station. Eric is a vital member of the staff at Apex, always working to ensure our clients get the state-of-the-art IT solutions they need to get ahead of the competition.

Dotti Putnam
Marketing Coordinator
As the Marketing Coordinator at Apex, Dotti Putnam is responsible for developing and maintaining marketing assistance for our sales department. She provides design and production of our educational, advertising, marketing, and customer service programs, and plans the execution of the company's various events and expositions. Dotti has earned a Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in Behavioral Science. In addition to skills in graphic design, consumer research, and public relations, Dotti has the ability to explain new technologies and systems to clients in language they can easily understand. She also serves as the administrator for Apex's Pearson Vue and Prometric technical testing center. In her time away from the office, Dotti enjoys spending time with her family, documenting life's blessings and beauty with photography, and watching football.

David Bliss
Director of Technical Services
David Bliss specializes in the management of operations for the field engineer, network operation center and dispatch staffs of Apex. He works to coach and motivate our technical staff in order to deliver high quality technical solutions and service offerings to our loyal clients. As a Microsoft Certified Professional, Systems Engineer and Systems Administrator, David’s role in the company ensures clear communication between our customers, internal departments and technicians. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with options in MIS and Production & Operations Management, and now brings over ten years of IT industry experience to the team at Apex.

Patrick Gerard
Senior Network Engineer
Patrick Gerard holds certifications as an MCITP Enterprise Admin, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, CCNA, CCA and CQS-CWLSS, making him an invaluable technical expert for Apex. A former network administrator and technician, he brings twelve years of technology industry experience to our team and specializes in Windows Small Business Server, Windows Enterprise, Citirx XenServer, and Cisco Wireless. In his time away from the office, Patrick’s interests include first and foremost his family. He has been married for nine years and has four wonderful children. Patrick also is in the process of rebuilding a 1968 Mustang and races autocross whenever he gets the chance. He is an avid musician, playing the guitar, trumpet, drums, bass, and singing. In additions, he enjoys boating and wakebording on Shasta and Whiskeytown lakes.

Stephen Carnes
Senior Network EngineerStephen Carnes has over 15 years of experience in Information Technology Management with an extensive background in design architecture and implementation of physical and virtualized infrastructures; specializing in strategic consulting, project management, with emphasis on system migration and design. Stephen has been nationally awarded for the architect and design of "game changing" infrastructures that dramatically improve workflow and patient care in healthcare facilities. Stephen holds the industry's leading technical certifications from VMWare, Citrix, Microsoft, Appsense and Cisco. During off hours his passions include aerial firefighting, baseball, yard work and spending time at home with his wife Tina, and their children Ephram and Keira.

Mitch Dyer
Network Engineer
Mitch Dyer handles the networking and security needs of our clients, as a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer with certifications in Network+, A+ and Security+. He brings four years of IT industry experience to the company, previously holding positions at Apex as a cable technician, helpdesk technician and network engineer. When he’s not taking care of our client’s networks, Mitch enjoys Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, biking, learning about physical/network security topics and penetration testing.

Corey Ricketts
Network Engineer
As a Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator, Corey Ricketts is the technical expert our clients rely on for the development, management and testing of total support software and solutions, as well as IE Kaseya administration. Corey brings 15 years of IT industry experience to our team, as a former senior technician for Computer Logistics. When Corey isn’t taking care of our clients’ IT so they can focus on their businesses, he enjoys anything outdoors, including mountain biking, cycling, surfing, snowboarding and rock climbing.

Sherry McElroy
Network Engineer
Sherry McElroy is an experienced computer technician with 11 years of experience as a programmer and 11 years of experience as a technician. She now brings her expertise with supporting and repairing computers and networks to the team at Apex, where she provides our clients with dependable IT service and support. Sherry is a Microsoft Certified IT Professional, a Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator and holds numerous other technical certifications with some of the world’s most renowned leaders in IT. She has worked in the past as a system administrator, IT manager and assistant network administrator, making her an invaluable member of the technical team at Apex. In her time away from work, Sherry’s hobbies include reading and knitting.

Jason Olson
Senior Network Engineer
Jason Olson brings twelve years of IT industry experience to Apex, where he specializes in medical and healthcare technology, security, virtualization, backup and Web development. He holds a Bachelor of Science IT: Network Design and Management from the Western Governor’s University, and studied the Bible and Theology at Simpson University. Jason holds is a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer and holds numerous other certifications with world leaders in technology, including Cisco and Citrix. In addition to being industry certified, Jason is a member of various trade organizations and is committed to providing quality, personable service to our clients. In his time away from the office, Jason enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons, serving in his local church, rock climbing, theology, musical theatre, reading and consuming trade magazines.

Arthur MacArthur IV
Field Network Technician
Arthur MacArthur IV received his technical training from Stanbridge College, holds certification in A+ and is a Microsoft Certified IT Professional with over 8 years of IT industry experience. As a Network Technician for Apex, Arthur works to troubleshoot and maintain client networks, train clients on how to use hardware and software and provide on-site maintenance. His previous work experience includes positions as a sales and service technician, product specialist and product manager, making him the technical expert you can depend on for recommending and implementing IT solutions that can help you achieve your goals. In his time away from the office, Arthur enjoys playing video games and working out at the gym.

Kyle Sandhofner
Network Operations Center Technician
Kyle Sandhofner is a Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist, working daily to review and troubleshoot our Digital Umbrella backups, provide reliable customer service and offer remote troubleshooting, computer repair, and virus & malware removal for the clients at Apex. Kyle brings three years of technical experience to the team at Apex, with former positions held as a help desk specialist, email administrator and IIS admin. When he’s not helping our clients benefit from the latest and greatest and advanced IT, Kyle enjoys attending church, motorcycles, and configuring and repairing electronics.

Sampson Abramenko
Network Operations Center Technician
Sampson Abramenko specializes in VMWare management, SQLServer Database Management, Network Troubleshooting and Web Design for Apex. After serving in the US Navy as an Electronics Tech and receiving education in computers and networking from Shasta College, Sampson now brings ten years of IT industry experience to our company. He has worked previously as a systems administrator and holds an Electronics Certificate from the US Navy, making him the technology expert our clients can count on for professional service and support. In his time away from the office, Sampson enjoys his kids, Web design, programming, baseball and traveling.

Steven Morris
Network Operations Center Technician
Steve Morris answers the calls of our loyal clients, monitoring and troubleshooting their network and server problems, offering in-house computer repairs and providing remote support of hardware and software. With over ten years of industry experience, he is a Microsoft Certified Professional with expertise in Windows XP, and has worked as a network engineer and technician. When he’s not resolving technical issues for Apex customers, Steve enjoys fishing, movies, TV and books.

Leiah Toms
Bookkeeper
As the bookkeeper at Apex, Leiah Toms is responsible for recording the company’s day-to-day financial transactions and performing accounting functions while maintaining the integrity of our financial and management report. Her duties include the general management of accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, the general ledger, payroll and cash management for Apex. Leiah received education in accounting from Shasta College and brings nine years of administrative, bookkeeping and customer service experience to our team. In her spare time, Leiah is a huge Disneyland fanatic and avid baseball fan who loves to cook and enjoys spending time at the ocean. She also loves to hike and fish with her boyfriend and her dog Gus-Gus.

Gabriel Roche
Scheduling Coordinator
As the Scheduling Coordinator at Apex, Gabe Roche specializes in the scheduling and dispatch of all our computer technicians, as well as project scheduling and coordination. After attending Robert Morris College, Gabe now brings four years of IT industry experience to our team, ensuring our staff is always organized and ready to assist clients with the professional IT service and support they need. When he’s away from the office at Apex, Gabriel enjoys computers, video games, basketball, golf, and playing with his dogs.

Andreas Camacho
Network Engineer
Having earned a degree in Computer Engineering from Cal Poly-San Luis Obispo, Andy Camacho has spent 15 years working in the IT industry. He has spent the last five years in the Healthcare IT field as Network Administrator at Modoc Medical Center. Andy's experience and expertise include Desktop Deployment and Support; Project Planning and Management; and System Troubleshooting. When he's not providing amazing customer service for Apex clients, Andy loves the outdoors, reading, and spending time with his family.

Linda Kehoe
Project Manager
Linda has been employed as a Project Manager and Project Coordinator in the non-profit sector for over ten years. Her career began at Shasta Community College where she earned an Associate's Degree while assisting instructors and students in the English Department. She was later hired as a Project Manager for the Shasta College Economic and Workforce Development department where she managed several vocational training programs that benefited local small business owners. Linda's career changed direction when she accepted a position at Shasta Community Health Center where she coordinated programs with focus on community health. From there she transitioned to working in the newly emerging field of health information technology at Northern Sierra Rural Health Network, which later became The Health Alliance of Northern California. At Apex, Linda is assisting healthcare providers with the adoption and implementation of Electronic Medical Records, privacy and security compliance, and nationwide conversions affecting electronic transactions. Linda has been a resident of rural Shasta and Siskiyou Counties most of her life and attended high school in McCloud. When she is not at work she enjoys gardening, hiking, and swimming.

Michael Vader
Project Manager
Mike brings 20 years of advanced technology deployment experience to Apex. From IBM Research to the international telecom giant, Ericsson, Mike has orchestrated technical implementations across 16 countries and 9 languages. His attention to detail and ability to work through any number of obstacles make him an ideal project manager for Apex. When not "fixing the world," Mike plays drums on the worship team at Little Country Church and enjoys hunting, fishing, and camping with his family in our little corner of paradise.

Dennis Marinello
Business Development & National Inside Sales Manager
Dennis is responsible for Apex's inbound and outbound sales strategy, including focused demand generation and Partner Development. A graduate of Azusa Pacific University, he brings valuable expertise in sales management and market development. Certified in Vmware VSP4 and Cisco SMB Solutions, his 4 years of previous IT experience includes inside and outside sales development with a fast-growing virtualization start-up company. Away from Apex, Dennis is a singer /song writer and recording artist who enjoys taking risks and cooking.

Jessee Benton
Network Operations Technician
Jessee came to Apex with 4 years of IT Industry experience, and previously served as IT coordinator at a rural health and wellness center. He is currently working toward his Microsoft certifications in Windows 7 and Active Directory. He specializes in troubleshooting and resolving computer software and hardware issues, and excels in customer service. Jessee enjoys longboarding, reading and hiking.

Megan Reed
Receptionist
Megan studied medical billing at Shasta College and has been a receptionist for 2 years. At Apex, Megan assists our bookkeeper and excels in providing friendly and professional customer service as she answers your call or greets you at the door. She spends most of her free time with her daughter and also enjoys hiking and gymnastics.
