"I was very reluctant to hire a local IT company to manage my electronic medical records and practice manage network because I didn't want the expense of doing so, even though I never checked to see what the cost would be. Most of my experiences with IT support entities revolved around long telephone hold times, and delays that often lasted days, so I wasn't really even interested.

After almost five years of struggling with IT support using the remote vendor/IT support company from whom I obtained my medical practice software, I finally had a bit of an epiphany. A critical computer in my network crashed and I needed it fixed immediately...preferably yesterday. I called Apex out of the blue and pleaded for help. I dropped the computer off over the noon hour and it was fixed by close of business that same day. They charged me very little to fix it.

That caused me to wonder how much simpler my professional life might be had I been working with them all along. I asked for a price quote for ongiong support and was met with an ultra-professional response. I signed on the dotted line. Now I can't imagine what I would have done without Apex. They are instantaneously responsive. A live voice almost always answers the phone, no matter what time I call. I am rarely put on hold and never for more than a few moments. More importantly, they always throw whatever resources are necessary at my problem and wind up getting it fixed promptly. And then when its all over, I promptly get an e-mail from an Apex mucky-muck asking me if my problem was resolved promptly and appropriately. That is so cool.

But perhaps most importantly, they have a system of proactively manging my network that helps me to avoid altogther many of the problems I had been having. I've received calls from Apex support staff, even on weekends, telling me a hard drive looks like it is going to crash and should be replaced soon; that our server appears to be overheating, please check the air conditioning in the server room; or our (Apex's) ability to monitor the system just went down so please check your modem.



In summary, the expense of my ongoing support agreement with Apex has easily been worth the cost because they are so helpful at keeping me productive by avoiding IT downtime. I would confidently recommend them to anyone."
